advice on selling art

some restaurant owner held a reception for me and other students because our artworks are displayed in her restaurant.

she is offering $400 for my painting. some other people wanted it too, according to my art teacher.

i don't know if i should sell it at this price. i mean, i know it's a great offer...

but i don't produce quality artworks all the time. i am not a prolific artist. i barely have anything in my portfolio. i am not going to be an artist. and i really like my painting. i want to sell it and i don't.

should i sell it?????

and if i do, should i ask for more (i want $500). it is right for a student to bargain when someone has already offered a price that everyone else is pretty much begging me to sell? i'm not being arrogant; i just want to know. i've never sold any paintings and i'm totally new to this.
please help me!

how much can the other people offer.. also would you plan to do more painting if someone offers you to do so.. if so, I would suggest that the painting be hung in the restaurant, it'll get you some free publicity !
